Velvet Nose Heart Studs

Look closely at a cat's nose and it is a small heart with two curves beneath it that meet in the middle. That is the whole design. A heart-cut lab-grown diamond is set point-down in a slim bezel that follows its outline, so the nose reads as one solid shape, and under the point one polished wire bends into the two soft arcs of the mouth, as wide as the stone itself. Seen quickly it is an outlined heart. Seen by someone who has a cat, it is a face. It works both ways and never insists. The mouth wire is cast with the bezel so it cannot shift, and sits just forward of the rim to give the nose a shadow. Weight per ear 1 or 2 carats; 18K yellow, rose or white gold, PT950 platinum or S925 sterling silver. Each pair is made to order and takes 10 working days.

Design
A heart-cut lab-grown diamond sits point-down in a slim polished bezel that traces its outline. Beneath the point, a single polished wire bends into two soft arcs that meet in the middle, as wide as the stone itself: a cat's nose and the small curve of its mouth. The wire sits a touch forward of the bezel rim yet below the top of the stone, so the stud rests low and smooth against the ear, held by a push-back post.
