Asking the right questions beforehand turns that moment from a leap into a calm, confident decision. About the diamond itself
Begin with the stone, because everything else exists to frame it.
- What exactly is a lab-grown diamond? It is a real diamond grown in a laboratory rather than taken from the ground, so no new mining is needed for the stone. Its crystal structure, hardness and sparkle are the same as a mined diamond's; only its origin differs.
- Which shapes and diamond weight options does this design offer? Options differ from design to design, and each product page lists the diamond weight options available for that piece. Choose the shape first, then the weight that feels right on the hand, ear or neckline.
- What are the color, clarity and grading-report details of my stone? These vary from one diamond to the next, so they are confirmed individually. Email us with the design and diamond weight you are considering, and we will share the details for your chosen diamond before you place the order.
- Who selects the stone? Aetheris is run by Aetheris Technology Co., Limited, a producer of loose lab-grown diamonds, and the team chooses the stone that goes into each piece.
About the metal
You can have any Aetheris design in 18K gold (yellow, rose or white), in PT950 platinum or in sterling silver. The helpful questions are about how you will live with the piece. Will it be worn every day or saved for occasions? Are you drawn to warm tones or cool ones? Would you like the naturally white character of platinum, the familiar glow of gold, or the bright ease of silver, which asks for a little more care against tarnish?

About size and fit
For a ring, ask yourself whether you truly know your size in US sizing, and whether you have measured more than once. Aetheris rings are offered in US sizes 5 to 10, including half sizes. If you usually think in UK, EU or Japanese sizes, our international ring size chart converts them. Measuring at a comfortable room temperature, rather than on a very cold or very hot day, gives a steadier reading, and a wider band often feels snugger than a slender one in the same size. Planning a surprise? Borrowing a ring they already wear on that finger and measuring it beats guessing.
For a bracelet, the question is length. Each bracelet design lists its available lengths on the product page, so measure your wrist and consider whether you like the piece to sit close or move freely.
About timing and delivery
Because nothing is kept waiting on a shelf, ask when you need the piece in your hands. Production takes 10 working days from order confirmation. After that, your piece ships worldwide by air with tracking from Hong Kong, and a tracking number is emailed on dispatch. If you are ordering for an anniversary or a proposal, count backward from the date and leave generous room for transit.

About policies, before you need them
The kindest time to read a policy is before you order, not after. In brief:
- Orders cannot be cancelled once production starts.
- Pieces are made individually, so a change of heart after ordering cannot be refunded or returned; double-check size, metal and diamond weight before you confirm.
- Should your piece reach you damaged in transit or with a manufacturing defect, send photos within 7 days of delivery and Aetheris will repair it at no cost.
