With the ring in hand for a few minutes, you have several discreet options:
- Measure the inside diameter. Lay the ring on a ruler and measure straight across the inside, from edge to edge, in millimeters.
- Trace the inside. Set the ring on paper and carefully draw around its inner edge, then measure the circle later.
- Take an impression. Press the ring gently into a bar of soap or a piece of modeling clay, so the size stays with you once the ring is back where it belongs.
