Our version measures nothing but keeps the fan: an oval lab-grown diamond set upright in a slim bezel, and three polished wires spreading from each side, the middle one level, the others tilted just a little, each one tapering to a rounded tip. The wires are cast with the bezel's back plate in one piece, so they hold their angle, and they keep the same length at every stone size, so the fan is always there. The whole span is about the width of a fingertip, and from the front the oval reads as a small nose catching light. Choose the stone per ear from 1 or 2 carats, in 18K yellow, rose or white gold, PT950 platinum or S925 sterling silver.
